The implementation of Western European educational models in the educational space of Ukraine in the 16th–17th centuries: an attempt of the dialogue

The article describes the formation of Western European educational models in space Ukraine 16th-17th centuries on examples Ostroh Cultural and Educational Center Lviv Fraternal School. This period is marked by establishment rationalist tendencies all spheres social life and, as a result, strengthened role scientific knowledge. It shown that demand for school institution grew significantly during specified period.
